Rogoznica Summer Nights 

This is a series of cultural events that take place throughout the summer, including concerts, art exhibitions, and theater performances. The events take place at various locations in Rogoznica, such as the town square and local churches.

Fishermen’s Night 

Step into the enchanting world of Rogoznica and enjoy the captivating Fishermen’s Night held in late August. This traditional event is celebrated in numerous Dalmatian towns and villages along the picturesque coast. SUP race

If you are an adventurer, be prepared for an exhilarating paddleboard adventure as the SUP race in Rogoznica on 5th July awaits! This adrenaline-fueled event invites participants of all skill levels to test their strength and agility as they navigate the mesmerizing waters of Rogoznica. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner looking for an exciting challenge, the SUP race combines friendly competition and breathtaking views. So grab your board, harness your inner adventurer, and prepare for a thrilling day of paddling and camaraderie in the Rogoznica.

Catholic holiday “Our Lady of the Chapel”

Join the vibrant celebration of Our Lady of the Chapel, in Rogoznica. On 2nd July, a majestic procession by boats takes place along the scenic coastline. Accompanied by priests and young girls dressed in white, the image of the Virgin Mary is transported to Caparinova Riva, where it is welcomed by the Bishop of Šibenik and a multitude of devoted believers. Together, they embark on a solemn procession along Rogoznica’s promenade, culminating at the Parish Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Heaven. This cherished tradition draws hundreds of boats and thousands of faithful pilgrims who walk approximately 2.5 kilometers along the sacred path. Through this remarkable journey by land and sea, the community unites to honor Our Lady of the Chapel, creating a profound spiritual event for all. 

Important remark: on the day of the procession, boats located in Marina Frapa should depart from the marina by 10 AM, because during the procession all marine traffic is suspended.

Events at Marina Frapa

The Marina Frapa is one of the best marinas in the Mediterranean and features a hotel, swimming pool, several restaurants, bars, and cafés and also hosts their own summer program. Once you get to the marina, check for the program at the reception area (they usually announce it a week in advance). Mostly, they bring all kinds of performances, from belly dancing or latin and standard dance programs, to opera arias, magic tricks and live music. 

Events in the Region

Seasplash Festival in Šibenik

From 20th to 23rd July, 2023, music lovers should head to Martinska near Šibenik for the Seasplash Festival, one of the biggest reggae and dub music festivals in Croatia. The festival features live performances by local and international artists, as well as DJs who keep the party going until the early hours of the morning. This year, the festival’s zero-day will be held at the historic Fortress of St. Mihovil, adding an extra appeal to the event.

Šibenik

The fortress of Sveti Mihovil, and other fotresses (they have all been renovated), are very popular concert venues. For instance, Sigur Ros, Emeli Sandé, Maksim Mrvica are all scheduled to perform there this summer. Check out the full list of performers on the Fortress of Culture website. 

Sibenik is turning into the world capital of children for the 63rd time from the 24th June, until the 8th July 2023. The International Children’s Festival features plays, concerts, workshops, exhibitions – everything adjusted to the ever curious children’s minds.
